7. The Book of Mormon - The Fall of Man: Necessary Part of God's Plan
2 Nephi 2:26-25 “And they would have had no children; wherefore they would have remained in a state of innocence, having no joy, for they knew no misery; doing no good, for they knew no sin. But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things. Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.”

The Bible -  The Fall of Man: Violation of God's Command
Romans 5:12-15 “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. 14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.”

And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.”

The Bible - Truth Established in the Bible
2 Timothy 3:15-17 “you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

Helpful truths about the sufficiency of the Bible and the dangerous consequences of following teachings contrary to Scripture....
Jude 1:3 “contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.”

1 John 4:6 “We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”

Galatians 1:6-9 “I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.”

2 John 1:9 “Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.”

Mormonism is not Christianity.  The Book of Mormon contradicts the teachings of the Bible.  Mormons are not Christians, even if they say they are because their beliefs are contrary to God's truths about Himself, His Son Jesus, and His plan of salvation.

Are you a non-Christian?  Repent (turn away from) of your sins, confess Jesus as your Lord (put Him in charge), and believe that He died on the Cross and rose from the grave (Romans 10:9-10).  Salvation from God is a free gift (it can not be earned by being 'good enough') from God by His grace through faith!
